Siemens has a long history in the Benelux region in supporting and initiating software development centers. For example, the company runs the Mendix Low code development platform in Rotterdam, the Manufacturing NC programming and 3D printing software platform in Hengelo, the Automotive Campus Helmond for test software for autonomous vehicles and the global headquarters for simulation software is based in Leuven (Belgium).
