King Willem-Alexander officially opens Brainport Industries Campus

The Brainport Industries Campus in Eindhoven was officially opened on Thursday 3 October. The grand opening was a special day and a major milestone for the high-tech manufacturing industry.

The visit of the King attracted a lot of attention to the new campus. About 1500 people were invited to the official opening.

The King was given a tour of the Campus, after which the official part of the program started. During the program, the King activated a high-tech robot, which then finalized a Coin. This Coin later became part of the artwork that can be seen at the entrance of the Campus. This made the opening of the Campus official.

In addition to the Coin of the King, the coins of the established companies are also part of the artwork. The coin of the High Tech Software Cluster is therefore also part of the artwork.
