We develop and deploy the Author-e product: a versatile browser-based authoring environment allowing groups of people working together on large, structured and smart text documents.
In Author-e, users are able to assign (read and write) permissions on sections, or entire documents and folders for their co-authors. Our product enables users to work simultaneously, and communicate with each other by use of notes and tasks to sections. Since documents in Author-e are build in a hierarchical manner, documents and sections can easily be embedded or reused in other documents.
